Phangan Great Bay Resort is a family run business located at Ban Tai beach on the west coast of Koh Phangan in southern Thailand. The resort offers a choice of three styles of room in the hotel and bungalows that are positioned beachfront and within the lush gardens. All rooms have air-con, hot water, private balcony and cable TV.

Relax in the beachfront restaurant, watch the latest movies or live sports event, enjoy a beer at the bar while playing on the free pool table. Everyone is welcome at Phangan Great Bay Resort. The restaurant serves local Thai dishes and a wide ranging international menu.

Koh Phangan itself is an amazing place. The islands culture tradition goes back 600 years when the first monks settled here, building temples at sites that remain today. There is a wide diversity of wildlife including sea eagles, minor birds, monitor lizards, King fishers, turtles, elephants (not wild ones!) and much more.

The parties on Koh Phangan are very well known globally. Starting with the Full Moon Party which began in the mid 1980’s and which more recently has been joined by the twice monthly Half Moon Parties (1 week either side of the full moon) and the Black Moon Party. The Ban Sabai after party is also a regular event following each party. Phangan Great Bay is ideally located within 15 minutes of the Full Moon Party and 5 – 10 minutes of the other events. Well positioned to enjoy but far enough away to allow sleep and relaxation.

The swimming pool is central to the resort and located at beach front. The beach here is long – stretching nearly eight kilometres through to the Haad Rin Peninsula – at low tide it can be walked all the way. Thongsala is just a few minutes in the other direction where there are bars and restaurants aplenty.
